One scary October night in 1938, H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds was broadcast by Orsen Wells' Mercury Theatre group. With the world on the eve of war, listeners to the broadcast thought the story's invasion story was true. This early TV production recreates that night.
Hosted by Edward R. Murrow and includes: Ed Asner, Warren Beatty, Warren Oates, James Coburn, and John Astin.
