Harry Truman Assasination Attempt

It is not widely remembered today that there was an assasination attempt on the life of president Truman. President Truman was living at Blair House while the White House was undergoing reconstruction. Two Puerto Rican nationalists planned to rush the president. One of the would-be assasins along with one White House officer were killed in the exchange.
This was one of 90 attempts on either a sitting president, president-elect or former presidents and vice presidents.
