President Theodore Roosevelt
Theodore Roosevelt became president after the assasination of William McKinley. His many accomplishments as president include the building of the Panama Canal, signing of the Antiquities Act, and winning the Nobel Peace Prize.
He was also related to both Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt. FDR is said to have patterned his political career after that of his distant cousin Theodore.
