Scrooge - A Christmas Carol
Watch this full length, 1935 film. It's the first sound version of this classic Charles Dickens tale about an old miser who is visited by three ghosts on Christmas eve. Some consider this one of the best film adaptations.
It stars Seymore Hicks as Ebenezer Scrooge.
This live TV performance is a short, 25 minute adaptation starring Taylor Holmes as Ebenezer Scrooge and is narrated by legendary horror star, Vincent Price.
This is essentially a stage play, recorded live for the camera in 1949 durning the very early days of television.
